2016 was ciCLEvia: Open Streets Cleveland’s inaugural year. The event spread along almost a mile of W. 25th Street, with over 1,500 participants taking part in over 30 activity offerings, such as zumba, yoga, live music, dancing, boxing, and even the MetroParks hand bike!
ciCLEvia: Open Streets Cleveland partnered with Councilman Brian Cummins of Ward 14, the MetroHealth System, the Saint Luke's Foundation, and the Mt. Sinai Health Care Foundation to bring open streets to W. 25th Street.
CiCLEvia: Open Streets Cleveland engaged stakeholders from sustainable transportation, healthcare, public health, and community development to reach a diverse spectrum of residents, and offered a variety of programming to engage people of all ages and abilities.
Thanks to the 200+ coordinators, partners, sponsors, and volunteers for making the 2016 series possible.
